Account information

When you sign in, Lexisy uses third-party authentication services to manage your account. We receive your email address. Your password is hashed by the service; we never see it.

Your vocabulary data

If you enable cloud backup, your learning data (including favorites, lookup history, familiarity ratings, quiz answers, and premium status) is stored in a third-party cloud database scoped to your user account.

When you use Lexisy to look up or translate text, it is first queried against the offline dictionary on your device. If not found, it may be sent to a third-party translation service for a fallback result.

• No analytics SDK or advertising trackers.
• No device identifiers, IP addresses, or location data.
• No access to your contacts, photos, microphone, or camera.
• We do not sell or rent your data.

Lexisy uses the following third-party services:

• Authentication and cloud storage services — Used to manage account login and store your learning data. These service providers process data only on our instructions and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
• Translation services — Used for fallback translations when the offline dictionary does not contain a result.

Offline data can be cleared by uninstalling the app or clearing extension storage. If you wish to delete your cloud backup data, please email hi@lexisy.com with your request, and we will process it within a reasonable timeframe. Please note that the Service offers data export functionality, which requires file access permissions to write data to your device.

• All network traffic uses HTTPS.
• Cloud database is access‑controlled per user account.
