Terms of Use

These Terms govern your access to and use of Lexisy (the "Service"), provided by CHENGXIN COMPUTER Co. By creating an account, downloading the app, or using the Service in any way, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when registering. If you are under the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, you confirm that you have obtained the consent of your parent or legal guardian to use the Service.

Lexisy provides vocabulary lookup, bookmarking, spaced repetition notifications, and quizzes. You may use the Service for personal, non‑commercial learning purposes only. You agree not to:

• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of any part of the Service.
• Transmit any harmful code, malware, or interfere with the integrity of the Service.
• Use the Service to store or share content that is unlawful, obscene, defamatory, or infringes intellectual property rights.

You retain ownership of all words, notes, tags, and other content you add to your library ("User Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and back up your User Content solely to provide the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of your User Content.

Lexisy offers a free tier with limited features and a Premium subscription with additional functionality. Subscription fees, if any, will be clearly displayed before purchase. Premium subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly) and will automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel anytime through your Google Play or Chrome Web Store subscription settings. Refunds are subject to the policies of the respective platform store.

The Service, its logo, design, and code are owned by our entity and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. See our Licenses page for details.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Our entity does not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error‑free, or secure, or that any content will be accurate or complete. Your use of the Service is at your sole risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our entity shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) during the 6 months prior to the claim.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law. If you wish to delete your account, please email hi@lexisy.com to request deletion, which will remove your User Content from our servers (subject to backup retention policies).

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where our entity is located, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising out of these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in that jurisdiction.
